Hi! I’m Lauren Bernard, elementary school teacher and artist behind Olive Ink. Olive Ink began in March of 2020 when I pulled out my watercolors and started painting. Inspired by students that I was teaching online, it was restorative to capture what I saw and felt in the midst of the uncertainty. I shared my art with my students, assuring them that some things remain steady; namely humor, connection and self expression.
